I Just Want You To Know By Kate Gosselin
Kate Gosselin’s book I Just Want You to Know: Letters to My Kids on Love, Faith, and Family is relatable to any mother. In the book it expresses her love for her children.
This book will give insight to fans of Kate and even those who seem to dislike Kate now. Despite its popularity, I never really got hooked on John and Kate Plus 8, but did watch from time to time.. If you follow current events, it would have been hard to miss the public battle between Kate and her husband John.. Regardless of her public image, I felt that this was a very good book that I’d read again..
Despite her public image, I found Kate’s story to be entertaining, touching, and thought-provoking.. Although their marriage fell apart, Kate remains respectful when discussing her ex.. I think it is great that she wrote an individual letter to each of her children. Instead of refering to her children as a group, Kate took the time to address each of them individually.. Unlike the public, it made me realize that she knew each of her children. All of Kate’s children are unique and special to her, which is something that gets lost in the media storm that surrounds their lives.. As you would imaging, keeping up with twins and sextuplets is not easy.. One of the best things about this book is that it allows the reader to see Kate’s life from her eyes and not those of the camera lens.. That is a good life leason no matter what!
You will definitely learn more about the Gosselin family in this book. There are recipe favorites and pictures.
Despite the public image of her being an attention seeker, Kate uses this book to share her life story for those who want to know the truth to her life.. One of Kate’s biggest strengths is that she manages to keep her focus on her children and not herself..
Kate’s story is truly inspiring and is a must read for everyone.. I think if you set aside all the things you have heard you will enjoy I Just Want You To Know By Kate Gosselin.
